Heading back to Canada tomorrow.... picking up tires on the way. Falken Azenis RT615K+’s. Should be pretty aggressive

I ran a couple of sets of those as track tires last year, they worked well for that. They weren’t too loud or annoying on the street between trackdays either. I think you’ll like them.

T hese were (are?) very popular “race” tires in crap can racing that requires street tires. I ran them on a couple different LeMons cars and they worked well. I’m pretty sure I ran a set of them on my MINI too but I’m not dead certain of that.

I run a set of these on my DD mini they have plenty of grip for a street car, very very confident and affirmative although it’s still possible to overheat them especially with a fwd. They’re not horrible in cold weather but not great either. But they do wear fast, I’ve probably only gotten about 17
k miles on mine and they’re already 3/4th wore out. They’ll also pick up rocks very easily so you might have a few more rock chips on your wheel-wells.

Next time I get tires for the Z I think I will go soft and much more aggressive, I just don’t put a lot of miles on the car unfortunately. So I guess I can get tires that wear out quicker but handle better. I have some Toyos that are ok but they are still looking new.

No, I ordered them from Washington. I didn’t have an address to ship it to in Oregon
